Enigma Vehicle Systems
Enigma Vehicle Systems PLC started business in 1992 when there was a high level of commercial vehicle and construction plant theft. Throughout the decade the business grew with an expanding base of customers, of all sizes, who turned to Enigma for advice and products to improve their security. Enigma’s expertise, and service, also expanded with a national, mobile engineering team, 24 hour service, ISO 9002 & Thatcham accreditation.  In 2003 Enigma took a large step forward and commissioned the Skyline advanced vehicle tracking and security system. The intention was to offer a world class security, tracking and fleet management system with the flexibility to use products appropriate for the application. Skyline went live in July 2004 and has become one of the market leading systems, especially in the construction, utility and plant rental business. Theft recovery has been so successful that, to the end of 2007, over £42 million of plant had been recovered using Skyline.

MLS
MLS has been in production since 1988 and although it has been developed over the last 22 years the principle of operation remains the same.  The system works by physically stopping the flow of oil around the hydraulic system in a vehicle.  It is the only 'hydraulic lock' on the market that works this way and is patent protected.  MLS's main markets are Italy, UK, Japan, Spain and France with representation in many other countries worldwide.  MLS UK is the trading name of the UK operation and is backed up by a hydraulics division that has been operating profitably in the UK for 28 years, ensuring a comprehensive service is available to all our clients.  MLS has both P2 and P3 listings with Thatcham."

Datatag
Formed in the early 1990's as a subsidiary of Mitsui of Japan, one of the world’s largest trading companies with a turnover in excess of $150 billion, Datatag was originally designed to combat motorcycle theft. Datatag is now a privately owned independent company which has already proven to be a major success in preventing motorcycle theft, and in recent years the company has developed a range of Datatag systems for other markets, including scooters, ATVs, Personal Watercraft, Bicycles, Construction Equipment, IT, Office Equipment and other valuables.

Datatag's powerful IBM 'i' series computer can be accessed by the Police and other selected official bodies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, giving them immediate access to the information they need in the fight against crime. Full training is given to the UK’s Police Forces, and Datatag have supplied the UK’s law enforcement bodies with thousands of specialist scanners that are used to identify suspect property in a fraction of the time taken by more conventional methods.
